Paper Towel Brands Have a Pattern Problem

I have a very controversial topic to cover with you. I’m serious here. This is important stuff….

Has anybody else noticed that paper towel patterns are having serious style issues these days?

With so many paper towel brands out there you would think you could find a decent paper towel pattern. But I took a stroll through my local grocery store this week & discovered a plethora of terrible designs!

Which led me to ask an important question ….

Do We Really NEED Printed Paper Towels?

Apparently those of us who use paper towels spend time longing for the good old outdoors. So much so that we need to have nature-inspired paper towels to use when we just can’t make it outside.

Looking at some of these designs is almost like taking one of those Rorschach tests. I mean, what exactly is this? Are these the branches that scratch the window on Halloween night?

But mostly? Patterns these days feature FLOWERS …

…and more flowers… (tulips this time in case you weren’t sure)

…and even more flowers.

And just to spice things up a bit, how about some flowers WITH butterflies.

The 1970′s Called ….

In case you forgot that we often use paper towels to clean up food, there are also the vegetable-inspired designs.

The 80′s Called ….

If flora and fauna aren’t really your thing you can always go for the geometric shapes. Especially ones that look a bit like…flowers!

And who wouldn’t want a purple and orange pattern of teapots, wooden utensils, and swirls. I mean shut the microwave door…that is like totally tubular dude!
